OPEN Scholarship (Online Professional English Network)
I was selected for the OPEN scholarship among junior and senior year ELT students in Turkey by U.S. Embassy Ankara & OPEN Course Mentor Committee and completed this 8-week course with other 24 applicants in the spring 2021 term.
This course is provided by Iowa State University, as part of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN). This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. government and administered by FHI 360.
Assignments were graded along with individual feedback by teaching assistants from Iowa State University throughout the course.
💫 Also, co-presented a presentation titled "Introducing Student E-Portfolio Through the Course of Educational Technology in the English Language Classroom" at the post-course student conference that supported by the U.S. Embassy Ankara.
