I expanded (qualitative adding) stimulating materials to provoke ideas for the writing topic "Things to do to relieve insomnia".
My Stimulating Materials:
Firstly, show memes about insomnia that can be relatable to students’ lives and try to catch their attention. Additionally, influence them to guess the topic and have a discussion. This can be the first stage of starting the topic before the writing activity. Also ask questions like, “How many hours do you sleep at night?”, “Are you a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper?”, “Do -insert the nationality of students- people have specific characteristics/preferences when it comes to sleeping?”, “What keeps you awake at night?”, and “Do you have a routine that you follow to sleep better?” before showing these memes.

Secondly, divide students into groups and share different videos to watch. Each group will watch a different video that is related to insomnia via using their headphones/earphones. The responsibilities of this activity are:
students need to take some notes while watching the video,
talk about the video after watching it,
change groups and recap & have a discussion regarding the videos and listen to the other students who watched different videos.
Potential Videos:
After completing these activities, students can start writing about things to do to relieve insomnia.
